Welcome! We are the Chicago Steel and are a part of the Eastern division of the United States Hockey League (USHL). We are excited to take you behind the scenes of our organization and let you get to know the staff and team on a personal level.

To give you some basic information, we were formed in 2000, and play all of our home games at the Edge Ice Arena, located in Bensenville, IL. Within the last 12 seasons, over 160 players have earned division one scholarships, while 24 players have been drafted in the NHL drafts. Scott McConnell is in his second year as head coach. He has put together a competitive team that looks to play fast, physical hockey. Our current assistant coach is R.J. Enga, while our goaltending coach Kelly Gee. Our current roster is:
