Player Appearance: Elmer H. Franzen Intermediate School

Chicago Steel forwards Brendon Kearney and Mason Bergh had the opportunity to participate in a Bully Prevention and Awareness assembly at Elmer H. Franzen Intermediate School in Itasca yesterday. The third through fifth grade students have been partaking in discussions and activities related to Bully Prevention and Awareness Month. Kearney and Bergh spoke about the importance of being a good person and how they look for teammates who can collaborate and respect each other on and off the ice. The Steel players had a great time and look forward to seeing the Franzen students in the future.

Below are scenes from the event as well as a clip of Mason Bergh's advice for young athletes and students.
