Player Appearance: A.F. Ames School

Chicago Steel players brought the Steel's Hockey 101 Program to A.F. Ames School in Riverside this past Monday and Tuesday. On Monday, Connor McDonald, Brendon Kearney, Connor Murphy, and Peter Tischke taught kindergarten through fifth grade students hockey fundamentals such as stick handling, passing, and shooting. Students scrimmaged against the players toward the end of class, which was a favorite for most. On Tuesday, Mason Bergh, Freddy Olofsson, and Cale Morris represented the Steel and answered student questions. Thank you to Ames School for hosting the Chicago Steel for two days of fun!
